To complement our team we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to drive our extensive Agricultural and animal welfare agenda which includes managing our Farm Assurance programme, auditing team and supply chain initiatives.
The successful candidate must demonstrate
A depth of knowledge and experience of agricultural systems, agricultural supply chains and an understanding of technical and innovation development within the agricultural industry.
Strong people skills to be confident in engaging with retail customers and farm supply base and have the ability to communicate key messages between the stakeholders of the supply chain.
Managerial Skills to drive objectives and direct auditing team.
Organisational Skills the ability to organise and deliver Producer meetings and key agricultural events – The Highland Show
A good knowledge on analytical and IT skills would be useful to analysis industry trends, abattoir and supply chain data.
