We are working with a UK leading Agri-Business with sites up and down the UK. They supply market leading agronomy and agri-commodity products to their clients covering all sectors and size. Due to rapid growth they are now looking for a sales representative or junior farm trader to get involved with the business selling seed, fertiliser and other products.

The Role:

Building relationships with local agri-businesses will be crucial to succeeding in this role. You will be responsible for selling and buying a plethora of different products on behalf of the business and its clients therefore benefiting from a great relationship for local businesses. Grain, chemicals, fertiliser will all be products that you must be familiar with. There will also be a great deal of office based work, covering admin and credit ledgers whilst maintaining great relationships with agronomists and the varying parts of the business.

Great level of commercial awareness and relationship building will ensure you are a success in this role.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential along with a great working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Organisational skills are necessary as you learn and grow into the role and take on more responsibility your organisational skills will stand you in great stead.

A good level of arable farming experience would be desirable along potentially coupled with a relevant degree.

Any sales experience would be an advantage.
