De Lacy Executive have been retained to source candidates for a Trainee Ruminant Sales role. Our client is a very successful, well managed and highly respected business. This role will require calling on farm to advise on feeding issues and to sell our client's range of products. The trading territory will largely be to cover the North of England, depending on the location of the successful applicant.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to extend their skills and knowledge in the commercial side of the industry. The scope and responsibilities of the role will depend upon the experience of the successful candidate. The successful candidate will have a good, can-do attitude and will be driven. The ideal applicants will have agricultural sales experience and will be a team player with a self-starter approach to their work.
The successful candidate will have:
- Ideally a knowledge of ruminant feeds/nutrition
- The skills to influence people and build relationships
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Have a pragmatic approach and strong commercial awareness
- Determination and resilience
- Valid UK driving licence
The role will be home based in the territory.
Remuneration A competitive remuneration package will be offered and will reflect the experience of the successful candidate.
