NFU Mutual, an Insurance and financial services provider and the NFU, the largest UK Farming Trade Association, have an exciting opportunity for a joint role as an Insurance Business Partner (with NFU Mutual) and a Group Secretary (with the NFU). The role will be based within our Dorchester branch. The successful candidate will oversee a very successful team that has excellent relationships with both it's customers and local community.
Our ideal candidate will excel at building trusted, long-term customer relationships and enjoy working within the local agricultural community. You’ll also have a pro-active, commercially astute approach to managing a business. It would be beneficial if you have experience of working in or with the Insurance or Agricultural industries but it’s not essential and won’t hold you back from potentially becoming an Agent.
As well as being able to develop and grow a customer base, you’ll demonstrate a dynamic, forward thinking leadership approach to the team within the branch. You and your team will be working in partnership, selling NFU Mutual’s products, while championing British farming and promoting NFU's range of membership services. The NFU provides unrivalled assistance to support farmers, growers and champions British Farming. You will be a key member of the local community and the point of contact for advice, expertise and help.
NFU Mutual’s attentive, personal and local service is what makes us so different and it’s our Agents/Group Secretaries and everyone within our network who contribute to this. With the support of NFU Mutual and NFU behind you, you will benefit from high retention rates and an established business. At every stage, we’ll help you to be the very best that you can be.
With this combination we would expect by the end of your first year that your commission income will be very competitive in comparison to similar roles of its type. However it does not stop there, as your income will grow as you develop and expand your agency.
Closing date: 11/03/2018
Assessment Centre: 28/03/2018 (located at NFU Mutual's Head Office).
Second stage interviews: 04/04/2018 (located locally to the Agency).
Please note you’ll be working on a self-employed basis and will not be directly employed by NFU Mutual.
To apply for this job you must have the right to work in United Kingdom.
