RURAL YOUTH EVENTS ADMINISTRATOR (Maternity Cover)

 

Job Description:

Salary                                                     £18,000-22,000 (Pro rata) dependant on experience.

Location                                                 YFC Office, The Showground, Winthorpe, Newark, Notts, NG24 2NY, along with various locations within the county.

Responsible to                                     Staff Management Committee

Job Purpose                                          To provide organisational and Administrative support to the Nottinghamshire Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs and encourage membership participation at all levels, through the extensive competitions programme and Events.  The membership age range is between 10 and 30 years. 

Key Tasks

Event Planning:                                    Working alongside committee(s) to achieve successful, profitable events

                                                                Support committees in the planning and execution of the County Show and County Rally

                                                                Support the competitions committee in the management of the competitions programme.

                                                                Reporting on events

 

Administration:                                   The management of the YFC Database

The management of the competitions Programme

                                                Bookings

                                                Collate competitions entries and liaise with competitions committee

                                                Generate Entry Forms and rules

                                                Completion of Entry forms for Area and National Competitions

                                                Answering telephone and email enquiries

                                                General Administration as deemed necessary

 

 

Employment Particulars

Hours                                                     30 hours a week, to be worked flexibly, some evening and weekend work is essential (Application for part time position maybe considered)
