About you

Are you passionate about food, enthusiastic and willing to learn? We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Chef to join our catering team.

About the role

In this varied role you will assist in serving lunch to customers of the NFU.  You will be responsible for planning in advance and cooking the daily Special Menus, costing individual dishes using our existing supplier’s prices.

You will need a current Food Hygiene Certificate.  You will also need to have a thorough understanding and commitment to health and safety in the kitchen.

A high standard of customer service is essential as you will be serving and meeting guests with refreshments.  Ideally you will have the ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues.

You will be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, along with being an excellent team player.

You will work Wednesday 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, Thursday & Friday 7:30am to 3:00pm (20.5 hours per week).
