About the role
The National Farmers Union publishes a range of specialist B2B and B2C magazines and websites for its members. These include our flagship monthly title British Farmer & Grower distributed to our farming and agricultural members, and the award winning “Countryside” magazine promoting food, farming and rural issues to the consumer
As a Media Sales Executive for the NFU, you will sell print and digital advertising solutions to prospective advertisers across the UK, targeting businesses within a defined area
You will be a confident and experienced tele sales person, used to working in a competitive market, and target driven. A media or publishing background would be advantageous
You will need to be confident in your sales approach, a self-starter who can achieve agreed targets and deadlines, forge long term business relationships, and provide an excellent standard of customer service. You will be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and a team player
Maintaining and developing existing client accounts is an integral part of the role, but it is essential to pro-actively identify and source new business leads and grow and nurture new accounts through professional sales proposals based on customer needs
This is an office based position joining the media sales team based at the NFU Headquarters at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire
